Our Pastor

A Message from the Pastor

We find healing in the message of the Gospel, in the power of the Holy Spirit at work in our midst, in the forgiveness brought through Word and Sacrament, and in the fellowship of God's people. When we gather together, we support and strengthen one another in faith, and thus help to equip one another to be God's healing agents. The Bible counsels us that, when we listen to the words of God, "they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh." (Proverbs 4:22)

This is why we gather in worship - to celebrate the healing Jesus has brought to each of us.  We praise Him for his love and grace.  We know too, that when we gather together, we are being conformed to Him, and thus made ready to offer His healing grace to others we meet along the path of life.

Celebrate with me this wondrously healing God who has made Himself known in Jesus Christ, through whom all healing comes.
